Priceless

For our anniversary we (T and I) decided to take a road trip. My parents took the kids and went to Seal Rock while we went on a little adventure with no specific destination in mind. Here are some photos of our fun trip.



Lenne Winery in Yamhill County~We recieved quite an education on soil, grapes, wine and the like.






Abbie enjoyed playing fetch on the beach near the Salishan Lodge. We enjoyed sitting and watching the sun sink before dinner. We did stay at the Salishan Lodge on Saturday night and it was wonderful. We went for a beautiful hike Sunday morning before driving down to Seal Rock and getting the kids.

Some of the other things we enjoyed over our long weekend were~ glimpses of the Hillsboro Air Show, P.F. Changs, Amity Oregon's lovely little fruit stand, The Brigitine Monks Monestary, fudge and chapel, miles of driving, a park in Newberg, art galleries in Depoe Bay and Newport, one of my new favorite artisans called "Sticks", seeing our children again after missing them for 3 days.

15 Years

Today is our 15th Anniversary. I cannot believe it. Time has flown by.

In fifteen years we have experienced so much. Lets see if I can recap some of it.

Honeymoon to Montana and Glacier, new jobs, first apartment in Tualatin, camping trips, long drives, first Christmas, first fight over the dishwasher...don't remeber the details, first anniversary at the Embarkadaro, day drives, move to Bend, new jobs, dogs, baby Moriah, road trip, long drives, baby Caleb, cancer, Mexico, Hawaii, Disneyland, Seaside, Newport, daily life.

It's not a complete list but it certainly is plenty full. We have had 15 wonderful years together. Each year has gotten better in my opinion.

T is getting off work early and we will spend the afternoon playing with the kids, maybe catch a movie with them and then we are going to go out for a nice dinner at one of our favorite places to eat.

Here's to 50 more wonderful years. We are truely blessed.

Well, I think I'll try this again. Maybe I will be able to keep up with this silly blog a little better. I haven't used this blog sight for over a year and I have been thinking it sure would be nice to have it up and running again just to keep family and friends up to date on our life.

So, our summer has been busy as always. We have done all of the usual things... birthdays, travel, beach, family, heat and swimming. It's been good.

School is going to start in about 3 1/2 weeks so we are busy preparing for that. Both kids are excited about their teachers this year as are we. Caleb will be in 2nd grade and Moriah will be in 4th grade. We are hoping this year will be filled with lots of fun learning for both kids.

Well, for now, I think I will end this short blog. I will do my best to update it as much as possible. I will probably post everything from family news, travel fun, photos and craft projects so be sure to check in as much as you can.
