The weather is colder than usual I think. Usually we have lots of sunshine through October and we are expecting to see dustings of snow. I am ready but not. Does that make any sense at all. Anyway, I thought I'd put a couple of pictures up for you and give you some updates.
We have all caught the fall cold that has been going through the schools. Thank the good Lord it isn't a long or hard one. It has made for some pretty lazy days for the last couple of weeks at it works it's way through the family. We have used it to enjoy some good competition on the Wii as well movie nights and lots of rest.
I told you in my previous post about our schedule. I am happy to report it is going very well. We have a little more time commitment to add to it however, because Caleb was invited to be a part of the blackbelt club and will be puting in more time for that. He is doing so well and improving daily. He will be testing for his next belt color next weekend. He is jazzed about that. Here are a couple of pictures of him breaking a board and practicing with his teacher.

Looks good doesn't he?
Todd has been working very hard at work as always. He has also had a project at home he has been putting time into. Our big windows out in the sunroom have been giving us problems so he has been putting in a lot of time getting them completely sealed up. He is about finished now, which is terrific and a relief.
Moriah is also doing very well. She is enjoying her teacher quite a bit and has been getting terrific grades in her subjects. In addition, she is taking Marimba lessons two mornings a week from her teacher. He has built some marimbas and teaches his students to play. She thinks it's great.
I am enjoying my metals class and learning tremendous amounts. It is still a bit intimidating but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I'll take pictures of my projects and post them when I get done.
For now, that's about all we have going on.
Have a great weekend.
