Pictures

Okay so my pictures are slightly out of order but I'm feeling like I accomplished something by getting them posted anyway. The last couple of weeks have been the busiest of our summer. We spent quite a bit of time at the beach with family as well as coming home and everyone going in seperate directions for a few days.

We are all back together now and trying to recover. Caleb has been sick with a big fever. He hasn't woken up yet this morning so I'm hoping that he is sleeping off his bug. Moriah isn't awake either for that matter. I think we all needed to get some intense sleep.

School will be starting up in a month so the readjustment back to school sleep schedules is on. The kids aren't very excited about that though.

Okay, enough chit chat. Here are some pictures of our trip to the beach.

catching fish
One of the things that Am wanted was for Uncle Noodles(Todd) to take her fishing. He found her a new fishing pole and the family went fishing for a couple hours. Am was the only one who caught a fish which was, of course, very exciting for her.

Bend Balloon Festival
This is where my photos are out of order. This picture was taken in the beginning of June at the Balloons over Bend. It was a spectacular evening we enjoyed sharing with Leanne.

Prepping for dinner
One night while we were at the beach we decided to make dinner over a "bon fire". Okay it was a little fire in a pit, more like a campfire. Fun none the less though. This is Grandma, Caleb and Am working on making some food.

Roasting Hotdogs
Nicole and Todd. We so rarely get pictures of them together. I thought this was a sweet picture.

Relaxing
Relaxing. Todd, Nicole and Kurt. I believe they are watching children dig or chase seagulls or something. Maybe they are all just relaxing after their hotdogs and smores. :-)
Grandpa Roasting Hotdogs
Grandpa and the kids roasting something. Moriah and Caleb really enjoyed their time with their Grandpa.

Kurt & His Girls
Kurt with his sweet girls. I think this picture says it all.

Chasing Seagulls
All the cousins headed off to chase this huge herd of seagulls. Yes, I know they aren't called a herd, flock is better but herd is funnier and I like funny. Abbie got them in the air and the kids kept them in the air.

Bird Chaser
Abbie the bird chaser. She was at the height of her glory.
Moriah and Faeryn
The big cousin hanging out with the little cousin. Aren't they so cute. Moriah really enjoyed playing with the the girls. She is really looking forward to seeing them agian.

Bon Fire on the Beach
Our family, enjoying the beach and a bonfire. Yes that is Todd's bottom in the air. He is working to make the firepit.

Hope you enjoyed my pics. As always, I will post more as I find the time to and as I take them. For now, I need to get ready for my day. I'm working in the garage today.

It is August! Can you believe it?

This past weekend was extremely busy. This is what Moriah has to say about her and Caleb's weekend at the family reunion.

First, we got there we set up camp then we explored the camp sight. The place were you set your tents up was very rocky and dirtey with trees all around it. Then we went to explore "mossy rock"( the town we were closest to. ) the next day I went tubing for the first time in so many years ITWAS SO FUN! After that day I went tubing 3 more times. I Loved it!Then after that we came home. It was such a good trip!!!!!

I believe it might be an understatement if I tell you that they had a good time.

My parents told us that Moriah and Caleb both had such a terrific time water fighting and swimming in addition to disappearing on the boat with Uncle Jon and Aunt Christy for hours and hours. I'm so glad we sent them though Todd and I both wish we could have been there.

Todd spent part of his week and weekend in Orlando at a conference for work. He had a nice time but it was hot and it was work. He was glad to get home and we got to spend a full day having a date while we waited for the kids to come home.

As for me, well, I spent my weekend attending my 20 year class reunion. Saying that I have been out of highschool for 20 years is almost to much to take in. I had a really nice time catching up and seeing my old classmates. I was amazed at the differences between our 20year and our 10 year. I had many great conversations during the 2 days and I am very glad I went.

Now it is Monday after the very busy weekend and I think we are all trying to catch up. I hope you all had a terrific weekend as well. I will try to post some more pictures later on.
